Are all properties on RentRightGH verified?

Accepted Answer

No. Not all properties on RentRightGH are verified. RentRightGH is open to agents, landlords, and property managers who list properties in accordance with our Listing Standards. Properties that have been physically inspected by our verification team will display a “Verified” badge. During verification, our team checks that the property matches the listing description, confirms key details such as ownership or listing authority, reviews the stated amenities, and verifies the accuracy of the listing information. Only properties that pass this review receive the “Verified” badge.

Are all listings backed by a money-back guarantee?

Accepted Answer

No, only payments made towards a verified listing have our money-back guarantee. In order to receive a refund, payment for the service should have been made through the site, and the refund request made within two weeks of the service date.

Question 3

How do I report a fraudulent listing?

Accepted Answer

If you encounter a suspicious listing, click the 'Report Listing' button or the 'Flag' icon on the property page, or contact our support team immediately. We take fraud seriously and investigate all suspicious listing reports within 24 hours. Confirmed fraudulent listings are removed, and we pursue legal action when appropriate.

Can I list my property on RentRightGH?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Anyone, including rental agents, landlords, property managers, and current leaseholders, can create a lister account and list properties for free. Listers are required to comply with our listing standards. Premium features such as the verification badge, featured placement, and homepage banner require payment.

Does RentRightGH offer rental assistance?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not offer rental assistance at this time. You may read our blogs to discover resources for obtaining rental assistance in Ghana.

Question 6

How do reviews and ratings work?

Accepted Answer

A user must be registered on the platform to submit a review. Only individuals who have directly dealt with the property owner or rented the property can leave reviews. Listers are able to respond to a reviewer's comments. Users who abuse this feature will be removed from the platform, and their reviews will be deleted. Reviews cannot be deleted by listers, ensuring transparency.

Is RentRightGH available across Ghana?

Accepted Answer

Yes! While we operate primarily in larger cities, our platform is available for use across Ghana. However, some services, such as 'property verification', are currently available only in Kumasi. We're continuously expanding our coverage to serve more areas.

What is the 'Super Charge Search' feature for renters?

Accepted Answer

Super Charge Search is a free feature that helps renters find suitable listings faster. When you use it, RentRightGH can send you automatic notifications when relevant properties are posted and share your search request with property listers on the platform. Premium search options are also available for renters who want additional support with their home search.

Does RentRightGH help agents find tenants faster?

Accepted Answer

Yes. RentRightGH provides free renter leads to all property listers. For a small fee, listers may also access premium leads that are matched and scored based on how closely they fit the lister’s available properties.
